The Plato Learning Environment (PLE) is a comprehensive learning management system that consists of three main components: Account Administration, Curriculum Planning, and Reports.
Account Administration provides options to create users, class, and assignments. You can search the required user using the Find Users option. Multiple users can be created at a time using batch Enroll. The Home page can be customized using the Account Settings option. Licensing provides information about the licenses issued to the libraries and the courses.
Curriculum Planning enables to add or remove resources from My Resources. You can also create a new assignment in a particular resource. Curriculum planning also provides option to search the required standards, resources, and PLATO courses.
The different types or reports are Progress, AYP, License Usage, Browser, Operating System, Page Access, Resource Usage, and Site Traffic report. You can create reports based on the assignments, usage of resources, page accesses on the Web site, and the license used to access the resources.
