The home page has to the top left corner of the screen:

 

Home – Displays the home page.

Help – Opens the help file for your reference.

Log Out – Logs out the user and displays the Log In page.

 

Change Role - This features enables a user with multiple roles to toggle between each of these roles without having to Log out and Log in at every instance.

E.g., As a user with a primary role of an Account administrator, you may have a secondary role as a School administrator and/ or teacher. After completing your task as an account administrator, you wish to move to your role as a school administrator. Click Change Role to select a different role. Select Learning Organization Administrator/Teacher/Learner as the case may be.

 

The Change Role option is available only when a user with multiple roles logs in.

 

The top panel of the screen has menus.

 

 

Each of these menus have sub menus.

The menu options Batch Enroll, Batch Enroll Monitor, Licensing, and Account Settings are accessible to the account administrator only. The left of the screen displays announcements for each of the user types. The center of the page displays a welcome note.

 

Note: Under Account Administration, Batch Enroll, Batch Enroll Monitor, Licensing and Account Settings are sub menus accessible to Account administrators only.

Under Reports, License Usage Report, Browser Report, Operating Systems Report, Page Access Report, Resource Usage Report, and Site Traffic Report are reports accessible to Account administrators only.

 

The home page displays resource information in three sections. These sections are as follows:

Top Section:

Displays the details of the top five items in Plato courseware. It has the following columns:

Item: Displays the name of the item

Expiration: Displays the expiration date of the item

 

Middle Section:

Displays details of usage of the top five items in  Plato courseware. It has the following columns:

Resource Name: Displays the name of the resource

Type: Displays the resource type

Curriculum/Subject: Displays the subject to which the resource belongs

Launch Counts: Displays the total number times that the resource has been launched

Cumulative Session Time: Displays the sum total of time of all sessions take together for a particular resource

 

Bottom Section:

Displays details of the top five newly customized courses.

 

All other information such as, Announcements, Reminders, Messages, and Discussions are displayed in the left-hand side of the home page.
